KESSP has launched its GO Lead programme alongside the central partnership this year. The project is supported by the Youth Sport Trust and England Football and seeks to train secondary girls in Year 8-9 to become football activators in the schools.

70 girls completed the training this week, displaying excellent communication and passion for football. We were extremely impressed by their desire to raise the profile of girls football in their schools. Our activators will now be working back in their schools to help inspire and influence their peers in a range of football opportunities. A big thanks to all the staff and students who attended the day!
