Aston Schools Scoop Secondary Athletics Medals

The Birmingham Sports Hall Athletics county finals took place this week, with partner schools representing the partnership.

304 young people taking part and, as always, it was great to see so much support for the event and to see so much talent on display.

A big thanks to all the young leaders from Bishop Vessey who helped to run the field events and track finishes and to Eddie who ran the track events. Many thanks also to all the Birmingham SGO's that helped the event run smoothly and to all staff for bringing their students on the day.

Congratulations to King Edward Handsworth Year 7 Girls and the Aston Manor Year 8 Aston Manor Boys who both picked up silver medals. Well done to the boys in yea 7 and year 8 from Windsor Olympus who both picked up bronze medals as did the year 7 girls.
