This week saw 4 of our secondary athletics team compete in the county athletics finals at Birmingham University. Students ran, jump and threw to earn points for their team. Aston Manor, Jewellery Quarter, Kind Edward Aston and Broadway Academy performed brilliantly against other schools from across the city.

Many congratulations to the year 7 girls from Jewellery Quarter who won their schools' first ever county medal, taking home bronze medals.

The Year 8 girls from Aston Manor Academy and the Year 8 Boys from King Edward Aston both took home silver medals in their events.

A great effort by all the young people - congratulations!
