We headed to Nechells Wellbeing Centre this month for the KS3 girls 3x3 basketball. The winners knew that they would qualify for the Sport Birmingham county finals later in the year. We played several formats of the game, from 3x3 and 5vs5 basketball. The girls showed great committment, ethusiam and grit over a series of games. The results were very tight and there were some stand out performances from all the teams who took part. Congratulations to our winners, Aston Manor Academy who progress on the the county finals - good luck girls! A big thanks to Mr Hempenstall who refereed all the games.
